Testimonials

“I wanted to take a few moments to thank the Madison County Commission, its staff, the Madison County Building Department and your entire staff for the help and cooperation they provided in connection with the permitting, construction, and opening of our facility.

All departments of the County worked with us in a very positive way from the initial planning stages, to and through completion of construction. It was truly a great experience to know that all levels of the Madison County government were working with us to bring this new facility to the County.

I particularly want to thank you for helping coordinate our efforts with the Workforce Board. As you know we needed almost 100 employees to staff our facility and the Workforce Board was a great resource in helping us meet this need.”

“Our group has been doing business in Madison County, Florida since the late 1970’s – over 30 years. As a result we have dealt with a variety of public officials – elected, appointed and career service – and have appeared many times in many different settings to seek required approvals, assistance and cooperation from the local government.

Madison County has proved to be a willing and able partner to sound economic development and community prosperity. Madison County has also proved to be a reliable partner for business in working with other governmental agencies such as the state level economic and regulatory agencies. Madison County officials do not merely refer requests to other regional councils or economic groups – instead they get personally involved themselves and work hard to bring matters to timely success. The importance (and rarity) of this personal involvement cannot be over emphasized.

Finally, Madison County has demonstrated its commitment to encouraging business in tangible ways such as the recent extension of infrastructure to the I-10 corridor and the large scale land use amendments that have been initiated and/or supported by the County in recent years. As a result of this tangible investment, Madison County is open and ready for business – not just talking about it.

I personally encourage you to consider Madison County for your new or expanding business. I am confident that in the local government you will find a receptive and reliable partner not only for your initial move, but for the years to come.”
